BeekmanTerminal respects your privacy and handles your personal data with care. In this privacy policy we explain which data we collect, why, how long we keep it and which rights you have. This policy applies to our website, the waiting list, the paid subscription and the use of the platform.
1. Who we are
BeekmanTerminal (formerly Daghandelaren), Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 83084509, is the controller for the processing of your personal data. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What data we collect
- Email address: when you sign up for the waiting list or create an account.
- Name: when you take out a subscription, for our records and the communication with Mollie.
- Payment status: whether your subscription is active, paused or ended, and the date of the next debit.
- Language preference and interface settings: stored in functional cookies (for example language and theme).
- Technical data: limited log data needed to keep the website running securely and reliably.
3. For what purpose and on what legal basis
- Waiting list: to keep you informed about the launch and updates. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Subscription and payment: performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Operation and security of the site, legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering and securing the service.
4. Retention period
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or until it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected. After that we delete your data or make it anonymous. We keep payment data and invoices for seven years under the statutory tax retention obligation.
5. Sharing with third parties (processors)
We never sell your data. We do engage service providers who process data on our behalf, solely for the purposes listed above:
- Resend: for sending confirmation and waiting-list emails.
- Railway: for running the website and storing sign-ups.
- Mollie B.V. for payments, see article 8.
Where required, we conclude data processing agreements with these parties.
6. Transfers outside the EEA
Resend and Railway are established in the United States. As a result, your email address may be processed outside the European Economic Area. That transfer takes place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, which are intended to ensure an adequate level of protection.
7. Cookies
We only use functional cookies that are needed to make the site work and to remember your preferences (such as language and theme). We do not use advertising cookies.
8. Payments
For payments we work with Mollie B.V. (Amsterdam). Mollie receives your name, email address, the payment amount and, for automatic direct debit, your IBAN and mandate. We store your name, a Mollie customer number, the status of your subscription and the date of the next debit. Mollie processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy statement.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and the right to object or to withdraw your consent. To do so, send a message to [email protected]. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
10. Changes
We may amend this privacy policy from time to time. You will always find the most recent version on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
